In 2022 a new component to the prize was added, The Gratitude Gift, a $10,000 award to a 501c3 non-profit organization that endeavors to have a positive impact through the work and art of theatre. The 2024 Gratitude Gift recipient chosen by Honorary Chair Kathleen Chalfant was Rattlestick Theater. Founded in 1994, Rattlestick Theater has been steadfast in supporting diverse, provocative work and fostering the future voices of the American theater.
